A new research project, GIG-OSH, investigates occupational health and safety for platform workers. The project is conducting a large survey and is searching for respondents among platform workers.
GIG-OSH investigates the working environment in the European platform economy. The project aims to provide new knowledge regarding occupational health and safety risks associated with platform work in several European countries. Additionally, the project examines occupational health and safety regulations within the platform economy, creating a fertile ground for cross-European learning. The goal is to provide recommendations to foster a safe and healthy occupational environment for platform workers in Europe and beyond.

The research project is conducted by FAOS University of Copenhagen, in collaboration with Karolinska Institute, University of Warwick, Université libre de Bruxelles, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, University of Lodz, Tampere University and Pompeu Fabra University & Hospital del Mar Research Institute.
