Professor emeritus Jesper Due has passed away

Professor emeritus Jesper Due passed away the 23. December. Together with Jørgen Steen Madsen, Jesper created FAOS in 1990. FAOS was initially a small research group, but from 1999 became a larger research center.

Together Jesper and Jørgen has published a long and unique series of books about the Danish labour market, its organizations and the collective bargaining system. The book ‘The Danish model’ from 1993 became a classic, which to a large extent has set the framework for the discussion of the regulation of the Danish labor market ever since.

Jesper Due will be buried in Sankt Markus Church in Frederiksberg on Thursday 30 December at 11.00.
