Posted construction workers in Denmark

The article focus on how posted construction workers in the Danish construction sector experience their situation in the interaction between the construction sector structures, the posted workers' employment, the Danish labour market regulation and the situation in their home countries. The article draws on ethnographic work and on three cases studies to illustrate how the individual workers shape the limitations and opportunities of posting as part of a personal trajectory. In this way, we analyse not only the building workers' geographical movements from site to site, but also the ways in which these movements are included in the individual's social and emotional life.
