Webinar: Responses to Ageing Workforce

Ældre medarbejder lærer unge op

How can workplaces successfully integrate and retain senior workers and what roles should employers, trade unions, collective bargaining and legislation play?

We are pleased to invite you to this FAOS-webinar exploring how organizations and labour-market institutions can respond to an ageing workforce.

Professor Peter Berg (Michigan State University) will present insights from his new book with Matthew Piszczek on how organizations manage workforce ageing. Drawing on interviews with senior managers, supervisors, HR professionals and worker representatives, the book examines how organizational strategies are shaped by stakeholder interests, the organization of work, collective bargaining and national retirement policies.

The presentation will be followed by a response from Centre Director Mona Larsen, VIVE, who is including evidence from Denmark, and a panel discussion between Maria Bille Høeg, Confederation of Danish Employers (DA) and Nanna Højlund, Danish Trade Union Confederation (FH).
